The Libby Incredi-Bull Bull Ride is coming on Saturday, with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. and the event starting at 7 p.m. at J Neils Park.

With 32 riders entered and six reserve, committee chairman Brett Bronson said they expect to have a good event.

“Word has gotten out that we put on one of the better bull rides in Montana,” he said.

The quality of the arena and the stock bring people back, as well as the quality of the people who announce and judge, Bronson said.

“We have some really good stock contractors bring some really good bulls here,” he said.

In past years, that has included bulls in high demand.

“We’ve had some of the actual PBR bulls here,” he said.

This year’s event will feature live music by the Steve Starkey Band.

And, there will be a special presentation. The committee is giving a $1,000 scholarship to Libby graduate Haylee Cannon.

The presentation will be held between the long and short rounds, Bronson said.
