Diana Louise Rosenquist

| July 13, 2018 4:00 AM

Diana Louise Rosenquist, 71, went home to heaven on July 2, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on Jan. 18, 1948 to Robert and Crystal McKee in Monrovia, California. She graduated from Arcata High School and married Lloyd Jole.

Diana and Lloyd divorced in 1970 (though remained friends forever). She worked full time, raising her only child Tina in Trinidad, California, where they rode horses and beachcombed. In 1975, she packed up her truck and moved to Libby, marrying Donald Rosenquist on Feb. 17, 1978. They were married 40 years. She was employed until she retired at First Montana Bank.

She and Donald spent many summers camping and fishing on the boat. Diana was an avid outdoorswoman, often backpacking into the high country to camp alone or with her grandchildren or friends. She had a deep love for her Lord Jesus and talked much about heaven, and the things of God. She participated in jail ministry and wrote encouraging cards to the girls in jail, friends and family. She loved Libby, her friends and family, especially Donald. She was deeply loved and cherished and will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Rosenquist; her daughter, Tina Puckett; seven grandchildren: Brandon, Lucas, Sarah, Ahriel, Elianna, Jezreel and Abbagail; a great-granddaughter, Lily; a sister, Marianne Job; a brother, Richard McKee; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Libby.
