Accompanied by members and auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars John E. Freeman Post 5514, Santa Claus made the rounds last week of elementary schools in the west end of Lincoln county.

Santa and his helpers wrapped up his visits with a trip to McCormick Elementary School Friday, where students received bags of candy and stuffed animals.
