Skid Row, the New Jersey band who sold millions of records in the 1980s and has toured in various incarnations ever since, will headline this year’s Big Sky Bash to benefit Libby’s Center for Asbestos Related Disease.

The fundraiser, in its eighth year, is Saturday, July 14 at J. Neils park in Libby. Gates open at 5 p.m., and the music starts at 6 p.m. and lasts until 1 a.m.

Opening for Skid Row are the Flathead V8s, hailing from Flathead Valley, and Dead Fervor. Following Skid Row is Devon Wade, an independent country music artist from Sandpoint, Idaho.

Tickets go on sale May 1 for $25 in advance and $30 at the gate. All proceeds benefit the CARD Foundation, the center’s fundraising arm, to support its ongoing efforts to provide healthcare, research and outreach to benefit people impacted by exposure to Libby Amphibole asbestos.
