NOTICE OF SALE Department of Natural Resources & Conservation Timber Sale The Young Creek Fire Salvage Timber Sale is located within Section 16, T37N-R28W, on the State's Stillwater Unit. Approximately 9,034 tons, consisting of mixed conifer sawlogs, are of¬fered for sale. Sealed bids will be opened at the Department of Natural Resources & Conservation, 2705 Spurgin Road, Missoula, Montana on December 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed and will be accepted any time prior to the bid opening. DNRC recommends that bidders contact the Trust Land Manage¬ment Division (406-542-4300) prior to the bid opening to ensure that your bid has been received. Bids must be accompanied by a deposit of $4,576.00, representing 5% of the minimum bid value of the sale in cashier's check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft to be applied to the first sale invoice for the successful bidder. Bid bonds will be accepted and, for the successful bidder, will be closed upon execution of the Timber Sale Contract and Timber Sale Bond. The sale will be awarded to the highest responsible bidder. Award of the timber sale is conditional upon approval of the timber sale by the State Board of Land Commissioners at their November 20, 2017 meeting. If the successful bidder is unable to execute the contract within 30 calendar days from the date the sale is awarded, the bid deposit will be retained by the Department as liquidated damages. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER SALE RE-ADVERTISEMENT NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE, KOOTENAI NATIONAL FOREST. The CUB CREEK FIRE DECKS timber sale includes an estimated 1,198 TONS of Sawlog timber (equivalent to 391 CCF) designated for removal located within portions of Section 2, 8 T21N, R31W; PMM, Sanders County, State of Montana. This is a DECK SALE and all rates will be paid for at a rate per TON. Sealed bids will be opened in public at the Forest Supervisor's Office, Libby, MT at 9:00 A.M.., local time, on November 28, 2017. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved. The prospectus includes minimum acceptable stumpage and the rate of required additional payments. The required bid guarantee is $400.00. PUBLIC OPPORTUNITY TO PROTEST ONE NEW MONTANA RETAIL ON-PREMISES CONSUMPTION RESTAURANT BEER AND WINE LICENSE Rosita's Mexican Restaurant, LLC (Mindy and Kyle James, Owners) has applied for one new Montana Retail On-Premises Consumption Restaurant Beer and Wine License No. 56-923-4320-401 to be operated at Rosita's Mexican Restaurant, LLC, 350 E 9th Street, Libby, Lincoln County. The public may protest this license in accordance with the law. Who can protest this license? Protests will be accepted from residents of the county of the proposed location (Lincoln), residents of adjoining Montana counties (Sanders and Flathead), and residents of adjoining counties in another state if the criteria in 16-4-207(4)(d), Montana Code Annotated (MCA), are met.
