Dinner and parenting presentation coming to Troy Elementary

Co founder of the love and Logic Institute and successful author and speaker Dr. Foster Kline will be presenting in the Morrison Elementary gym on Thursday, March 30 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The presentation will follow a free community dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. which is open to everyone.

There will be free childcare provided by the after school program during the presentation

Dr. Kline is primary author of “Parenting with Love” and “Logic and Parenting Teens with Love and Logic,” two books in their second edition and 40th printing that are used throughout the United States.

Teaching with Love and Logic is used throughout many school systems. Parenting with Love and Logic has been translated into eight foreign languages.

Kline’s presentation in Troy will be packed with immediately usable, practical information that can be put into practice right away. His presentation is laced with humor and compassion, because all parents work hard and all parents struggle at times. Audiences have said his information is often life changing and can impact how generations function.

Dr. Cline graduated Suma Cum Laude from the University of Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado Medical School in 1966. He completed an internship at Gorgas, the Federal Hospital in the Panama Canal Zone, and finished up with 4 years of adult and child psychiatric residencies at the University of Washington.

Foster and his wife, Hermie, retired in Sandpoint, Idaho and recently celebrated their 57th anniversary. They raised 3 birth children, and an adopted daughter. They have also parented 3 foster children.
