Conservation organization Ducks Unlimited [DU] is celebrating it’s 80th year this year, and the Libby chapter will hold its much anticipated 32nd annual conservation dinner on Saturday, April 29, at 5 p.m. at the Ponderosa room in the city hall complex.

Organizer Jon Jeresek says “we aim to raise funds for wetland conservation, restoration and enhancement while enjoying a fun night out. There will be a delicious all you can eat buffet followed by raffles, auctions and prize giveaways.”

DU’s mission statement, taken from their website, has this to say about wetlands conservation: “Ducks Unlimited’s vision is a world of wetlands sufficient to fill the skies with waterfowl today, tomorrow and forever. That’s what DU’s founders envisioned in 1937, and it’s still our mission today.”
