Lawrence E. 'Larry' Mack

Lawrence E. (Larry) Mack, 65, died suddenly in Corvallis, Oregon on June 9, 2017. He was born December 5, 1951 in Big Timber to Virnie and Evelyn Mack. He attended schools in Big Timber and Libby before joining the U.S. Army and serving in Vietnam.

Upon returning from the service, he worked ranches in Big Timber and Three Forks and also tried his hand at bull riding. He attended school and became a television cable installer before moving to Libby to work at Asarco. He also was a certified gunsmith.

He married Bonnie and together they had two children, Corall and Lonnie. After their divorce, he later married Carol and together they lived with her eight children and one of their own, Linda.

Larry was a very kind and gentle man who was awesome to be around, He had a great passion for the outdoors and all it had to offer. He loved to hunt, fish and go camping with his family and have a good cup of coffee.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, sister Linda Ewan, nephew Tyler Michels and brother-in-law Glen Peek. Survivors include his children Lonnie Mack (Heather) of Corvallis, Oregon; Coral Davis of Salem, Oregon; Linda Mack of Three Forks; and 12 grandchildren Dianara, Tate, Taylor, Anna, Alex, Aislinn, Torin, Aime, Brandon, Michalla, Elizabeth and Michael. Larry is also survived by his father Virnie Mack (LaDonna) of Libby; mother, Evelyn Ewan of Three Forks; stepmother, Margaret Mack (who raised him) of Troy; siblings, Lonnie Ewan (Rose Ann) of Valentine, Nebraska; Cindy Peek and Patti Regh (Jim) of Libby; Keith Mack (Betty) of Troy; Doris Langley (Mike) and Robin Henderson (Alan) of Frenchtown; Frank Mack (Pam) of Kalispell; and Carol Weir (Ryan) of Buna, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and special friends Susie Wilson and Larry Marchant.

Cremation has taken place and a family memorial service will take place.
