Fish and Wildlife Commission meeting is June 7

The Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission will hold its bimonthly meeting starting 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 7 at Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks’ Region 1 headquarters at 490 North Meridian Rd. in Kalispell.

According to a news release the commission plans to make final decisions on issues including 2017 mountain lion quotas; 2017 fall upland game bird and fall turkey quotas and limits; 2017 deer, elk and antelope quotas outside biennial quota ranges; 2017 moose, sheep and goat quotas outside biennial quota ranges; 2017 bison quotas; and 2017 HB 454 hunting access agreements.

The commission will also consider proposal items including furbearer and trapping regulations, seasons and quotas and big horn sheep and mountain goat augmentations.
