The Libby Friends of the Library will host Montana Conversations program “Home, Home on the Ranch” with William Rossiter at Lemonade on the Lawn on Wednesday, July 26. The program will be at the Libby Library from Noon-1:00 PM. The presentation is free and open to the public.

This musical presentation presents a snapshot of life in the American West, detailing the values and experiences, the humor and tragedies unique to making a home in the rural West.

William Rossiter of Kalispell, a retired instructor of literature, humanities and folklore, will accompany the songs with guitar, banjo, autoharp and harmonica, and he encourages audience members to share personal or family stories about life on the range.

On the menu for lunch will be a burger and chips for $5 or you are welcome to bring your own lunch. As always, a cookie and lemonade are free.

The Lemonade on the Lawn series will continue August 9th with Montana Trivia and August 23rd with a performance by the Libby Old Town Opera House Theatre.

Funding for the Montana Conversations program is provided by Humanities Montana through grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities, Montana’s Cultural Trust, and private donations.
