Libby Police Department to present Wednesday at monthly Chamber luncheon

Libby police Chief Scott Kessel and Officer Darren Short will present on the “State of the Police Department” Wednesday during a monthly Libby Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon. The event begins at noon at Simple Simon’s Pizza at 30270 Highway 2 in Libby.

According to a chamber news release, the police presentation will cover crime trends, tips and tricks for protecting businesses, business-related police programs and “how we can positively engage with the Libby Police Department to strengthen the business community.”

The restaurant buffet will be open to attendees and include a drink, pizza and salad bar for $9.50.
