Credit union donation to help food pantry buy cooler

The Lincoln County Credit Union recently donated $2,500 to the Troy Food Pantry to help buy and install a produce cooler.

“The cooler will allow the Troy Food Pantry, the Troy Baptist Church Pantry and the Yaak Food Cupboard to store fresh produce to be distributed to local pantry clients,” a news release states. “The produce is made available by the Montana Food Bank Network in addition to the food that is currently provided to the pantries.”

The Troy Food Pantry, a a 501c3 nonprofit, continues to accept donations for this project. They can be mailed to Troy Food Pantry-Cooler, P.O. Box 945, Troy, MT 59935.
