The Forest Service and Lincoln County on Wednesday, Aug. 16 began reconstructing Leigh Creek Road No. 4786, the road to the Leigh Lake Trailhead, according to a Forest Service news release.

The road will remain open during reconstruction, though delays of up to two hours might occur during culvert installation.

“The work will last approximately three weeks, but the road will be left open and passable on weekends,” the news release states.

Motorists are reminded to obey all traffic signs and watch for workers and heavy equipment.
