Leota (Lee) Patricia Limoges

Leota (Lee) Patricia Limoges, born March 16, 1928 in Bonners Ferry, Idaho to Roscoe and Selma Garrison, passed away peacefully with family near on Aug. 5, 2017.

Leota grew up in Bonners Ferry and Libby, where she attended schools. She was one of six children.

Bravely her and her older sister Gladys ventured to California to help build up our country’s munitions. A year later she came back to Libby to be married and start a family. Through the years she moved around the Pacific Northwest. She enjoyed various professions: theater usher, grocery clerk, bartender, cafeteria worker and parts assembler for many years at Clare Pendar in Post Falls.

She taught her children to love the outdoors, camping and fishing. She loved yard sales, gardening, sewing, decorating, cooking new things and painting anything she could find. She lived in the Coeur d’Alene area for 42 years.

Leota leaves behind four children: Don (Betty) Adamson, Ronda (John) Smithson, Jim LaPlant and Chuck (Sheila) Limoges; 12 grandchildren and even more great-grandchildren.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12 at Rathdrum Grange, N. 14353 Hwy 41, Rathdrum, ID 83858.
