Karla Sue Tyner, 50, of Libby, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center of natural causes. She was born Oct. 29, 1965, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, to Willie and Sue (Schmiedel) Kateley. Karla grew up and attended school in Libby.  

Karla worked as a waitress for many years and was an assistant manager at the Town Pump. She traveled all over the country with her husband, Duane Tyner. Karla enjoyed camping and fishing. She did not have a mean bone in her body and cared deeply for her children. Karla thought that there was nothing she couldn’t do. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Karla is survived by her husband, Duane Tyner of Libby; children Quinton Rodriguez of Great Falls, Justin Hall (Angie) of Hardin, Tony Rodriguez of Shelby and Amber Tyner of Vancouver, Wash.; mother Sue Holter of Libby; father Willie Kateley (Imelda) of Libby; sister Becki Kateley (Cliff) of Great Falls; brother  Danny Kateley (Dawnelle) of Libby; 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
