Amy Nightengale, FNP-C has recently joined the Cabinet Peaks team of healthcare providers as the newest hospitalist.  A hospitalist is a provider who specializes in the care of acutely ill patients, or those who have been admitted to a hospital.

Amy is Family Nurse Practitioner, and holds a national certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center.  She graduated from Wichita State University in 2005 with a Masters of Science in Nursing, and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau.

When Amy is not serving in her role as Hospitalist at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center, she works for Docs Who Care doing locums (as needed) work in area hospitals and at Glacier Medical Associates Urgent Care Clinic.

“CPMC has a wonderful reputation for giving quality patient care.  I knew I wanted to be a part of this team,” stated Amy.   “My favorite part of working in Libby and at Cabinet Peaks so far, is the people!”

Amy resides in Kalispell with her husband, their 3 children, and 3 dogs.

“We are excited to have Amy join our team,” stated Bruce Whitfield, CEO at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center.  “She is a welcome addition to our Acute Care Floor and our current team of providers.”
