The Libby Area Chamber of Commerce fundraiser dinner is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Libby Memorial Events Center.

The event will feature a number of events, including raffles, fantasy football games, silent and live auctions, along with dinner and a no host bar beginning at 5 p.m. The annual party is the primary fundraising event for the chamber of commerce. Local artist Ron Adamson will be conducting the live auctions, which will include a piece of his original art.

The Libby Area Chamber of Commerce had a busy 2015, reporting 4,259 visitors to the chamber office during the year. The logs indicate the chamber hosted visitors from all 50 states in the nation as well as travelers from Switzerland, Mexico, Germany, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Denmark, the Netherlands, Ireland, Australia, Romania, South Korea, Scotland, Hungary, Portugal and Spain. Chamber staff and volunteers also fielded more than 4,100 telephone inquiries and distributed more than 7,000 brochures about the chamber and the area.

The mission of the chamber is to help promote the greater Libby area and assist local event organizers with advertising, promotion and volunteers.
