Archery Club to meet

| December 26, 2016 3:24 PM

Libby Archery Club will be holding a meeting Jan. 5 at 7p.m. at the archery range at Lincoln Lanes.

They will be discussing upcoming leaguedates, elections, a possible change in shoot dates for the Fisher River Shootout, a proposal to refurbish bows for the Libby Middle/High School gym classes, upcoming free archery basic instruction classes and any new business.

Archery League will be starting in January so people are encouraged to think about putting teams together. Teams are made up of three people, and can be any combination of ages or bow types. League shooting nights will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, but people are not limited to shooting your scores on those nights.

The range is now open to all current archery club members that have paid the membership and range fee. Fees include memberships and the fee to shoot at the range from Dec. 1 thru March 31 and can be paid at Libby Sports Center. No broadheads allowed, kids under 15 must be accompanied by an adult shooter.
