Lady Loggers lose twice over weekend

On Friday and Saturday at the Shelby tip-off tournament, the Libby Lady Loggers took two defeats in their games against Florence and Belt

Against Florence, the team never recovered from a slow start, when the opposing team took a big lead over the team. with four quarters of 3-11, 7-16, 7-17 and 12-12 — the game ended 29-56.

Brooklyn Rainer led the team with 12 points, with Jayden Winslow scoring nine. Madisen Monigold came in with three, Abby Ennega Khalyn Hageness with two each and Sammee Bradeen with one.

Against Belt, the team suffered another loss 62-30 in four quarters of 7-18, 6-21, 10-14 and 7-9.

Shannon Reny led the team with 12 points, Winslow with nine, Madisen Monigold with five, Abby Ennega and Khalyn Hageness with two each.

The Lady Loggers will go to play Thompson Falls on Thursday at 7 p.m.
