72, of Libby

 

Paul W. Rexroad, 72, of Libby, formerly of Las Vegas, Nev., died peacefully April 23, 2016, at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby. Paul was born Sept. 1, 1943, in Baltimore, Md., the son of Ralph and Merle Rexroad. 

After serving in the United States Army from 1964 to 1966, he moved to Las Vegas, Nev. Paul worked in the casino business for 42 years holding many positions including shift manager at the Bellagio Hotel until his retirement in 2005.

He moved to Libby in 2005 and enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf with his wonderful friends. Paul was a very generous and fun loving man who lived life to the fullest. He laughed often and easily and was legendary for his joke telling and that is just a few things that will be missed by everyone he knew and loved. Paul was a devoted father and grandfather and his three children and seven grandchildren were the love of his life. Paul will live on in the hearts of his family and friends because of the many stories that will be told about him.

Survivors include his son, Michael Rexroad (Ragend), Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Tabitha Campagna and Melissa Puleo (Jimmy ) Las Vegas, Nev.; seven grandchildren, Chelsea Hurry, Ryan Kramer, Kaitlyn Puleo, Tyler Puleo, Paul Puleo, Morgane Rexroad and Tayler Rexroad; three nephews, Mark Herring (Jenny), Indiana, Penn., Paul Nicely (Donna), and Thane Nicely, both of Libby; and one niece, Tracy Nicely-Dunn (Mike), Troy.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Merle Rexroad, his brothers Guy Rexroad and Clyde Rexroad and his sister Doris Rexroad.
