Tim William McCann, 57, of Troy, died suddenly on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, in Libby.

Tim was born Jan. 23, 1958, in Hot Springs, and was overjoyed to have spent his last days in the natural beauty of his home state.  He served in the United States Marine Corps and worked as a heavy equipment operator, long-haul trucker and in yacht construction. 

He was an accomplished musician, ruminator of all things fantastic, family statesman and arbiter and world champion husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cathy; five children, Jessica and her husband Richie, of Port Orchard, Wash., Jasmine and her husband Zachary, of Aiea, Hawaii; Anthony and his wife Samantha, of Port Orchard, Wash., Jesse, of Troy; Jamie and her boyfriend Kurtis, of Troy and seven grandchildren, Cris, Alina, Kaysha, Olivia, Otealia, Kaizen and Logan.

A funeral service will take place at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at the family home in Troy followed by an Irish wake to celebrate the life of one of the world’s true angels, gone home now to stand watch over us with his fellow Marine brothers and sisters.
