The Lady Loggers soccer team played host to the Columbia Falls Wildkats Saturday afternoon, and fell to the visiting kickers 6-1.

Columbia Falls’ Hannah Gedman put three goals in the net, in the 26th, 30th and 51st minutes. Ellie Johnson, who assisted on two of Gedman’s goals, added two of her own in the 31st and 41st minutes. Sydney Grilley put in the last ‘Kats goal in the 82nd minute.

Shae Munro scored Libby’s lone goal on a penalty kick in the 79th minute of play.

“It was the first time Libby has scored against Columbia Falls in over six years,” Libby coach Joe Cik said after the game.

Libby’s goalkeeper, Shannon Reny, continued her impressive performance on the season, stopping 19 shots from finding home in the net.
