Three Lady Loggers soccer players were named to the all-conference team, according to an announcement from coach Joe Cik. Anna Carlson, Abbie Creighton and Shannon Reny were the three players recognized for their on-field efforts this season.

Carlson, Cik said, exemplifies the dedication and commitment he’s tried to instill in his players.

“Anna Carlson is a special player, she has competed with the boys in the spring several years.” Cik said. “She is the voice for the ootsaw hakka.”

Creighton, he said, brings joy to the game as a partipant and for spectators and coahces.

“Abbie Creighton is one of the best athletes I have ever coached. She is so fun to watch play the game,” he said.

Reny’s efforts in the net kept the Lady Loggers close in a number of contests during the course of the season. The Montana High School Association doesn’t list a record for the highest number of saves in a single season, but unofficial statistics place Reny at the top of goalkeepers in Montana this year.

“Shannon Reny is the best goal keeper in the state,” Cik said. “She should have been elected All-State. She has the attitude to lead the team going forward.”
