Sharon Floyd

Sharon Faye Floyd, 73, of Troy, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at HealthCare Northwest in Kalispell of natural causes.  She was born August 19, 1941 in Pound, Va., to Orbin and Anna Hazel (Countis) Branham.  She moved with her family to Washington at age 6 and grew up and attended school in Menlo, Wash.  In the mid 1950s, Sharon married Ivory Hillard Mullins in Menlo, Wash.  Hillard preceded her in death in 1983.  She married Frank Floyd in Lake Chelan, Wash., in 1984.  Frank preceded her in death in 2007.  Sharon worked as a waitress at the Sand and Surf restaurant in Lake Chelan, Wash.  She loved the great outdoors, spending time riding horses, camping, fishing and hunting.  Sharon also enjoyed crocheting, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Ivory Hillard Mullins and Frank L. Floyd, III and a brother, Don Branham.

Survivors include her soulmate Maynard Rogers of Troy; children Jeffrey Mullins of Lake Chelan, Wash.; Teresa Crandall (Tim) of Lake Chelan, Wash.; Christie Lee Nichols (Howard) of Troy; brother Ronald Branham (Rhonda) of Menlo, Wash.; seven grandchildren, Colby, Eric, Cresdon, Kayla, Nicole, Amy and Andy and numerous great-grandchildren. Sharon held a special place in her heart for the many friends and extended family that meant so much to her.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at the Troy Church of God. Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory in Libby. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.
