April 8

• An intoxicated man on Pioneer Road was arrested.

• A woman on Wisconsin Avenue reported items taken from her vehicle the prior evening.

• A person on Sixth Street reported an individual caught stealing items on surveillance camera.

• Another woman on Wisconsin Avenue reported having her identification and change taken from her unlocked vehicle.

• A caller from a local motel reported a guest had tampered with a smoke alarm.

• A caller on Highway 2 reported someone  popped the trunk to his vehicle and stole his daughter’s birthday presents.

• A caller from a local gas station reported a man with an oxygen tank parked in the entryway to the store. The man was slumped in his seat.

 

April 9

• A person on Granite Lake Road reported a fire in the area.

• A caller from an area landfill reported the theft of a battery.

• A woman on Shaugnessy Hill reported what appeared to be a camper on fire. She said a lot of smoke was coming from the vent.

• Libby police responded to an alarm activated at an area business. Everything appeared fine, and it was.

• A 23-year old man was arrested at a Troy business on an outstanding warrant.

• A person on Cedar Meadow Road reported his neighbor was shooting his guns off, again.

 

 

April 10

• A man visited the Lincoln County jail to bail out another man. He was told the person he was looking for was not being held there. The man returned later and said he went to Troy and couldn’t find the person he wanted to bail out there either and wanted $20 for gas money and felt like he was getting the run-around.

 

April 10

• A man on Libby Creek Road reported a man at his house acting very strange. He said the man was talking about taking his wife and had visited her workplace earlier in the day. A 55-year old man was arrested as a result of the situation.

 

April 11

• A caller on Highway 2 reported a woman wearing a tee shirt and pajama pants walking in and out of traffic. The caller reported the woman stood in the middle of the road and was staring up into the sky.

• A woman reported that a man she had met at a bar had her look up information regarding gangs on the Internet and was saying things that made her nervous.

• A woman on Spencer Road reported her I-Phone that was at her boyfriend’s house had gone missing and she is unable to find it.

• A caller on Bobtail Hill reported a tree down blocking the road. The road was cleared by the responding sheriff’s officer.

• A caller on Corner Road reported being verbally threatened. The person doing the threatening was told any further contact with the caller would result in an arrest.

• A man on Wisconsin Avenue reported his neighbor’s tree had fallen on his power line and took his power out.

• A caller on Granny’s Garden Road reported a tree blew down across driveway and got hung up in a power line.
