Patricia Kenoyer

Patricia A. “Pat” Kenoyer, 86, died on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby.  She was born on October 3, 1928, at Alturas, Calif., to Pal and Marie LaClaire. 

She resided in St. Ignatius and Libby while raising family and later had worked as a waitress and cook in Oregon, Nevada, Washington and Idaho, residing in Salmon and Challis, Idaho, for an extended period of time until returning to Libby in 2003. Pat had been an avid reader and enjoyed watching football and rodeos, especially bull riding.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Stephen Brown and Kenneth E. Brown, Jr.; husband Don Kenoyer; five siblings and a grandson, Byron Myers.

Survivors include her beloved companion, Chuck Tapia; her children, Fred Brown, Kendra Gaustad (Dave), Bobbie Nelson (Niles), Toni Glenn, Patsy Klare (Russ), Jean Brown and Laurie Brant (Dale);  11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; five siblings and many, many nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
