May 8

 

• An anonymous woman reported a vehicle that has been parked in front of a residence she owns and would like it removed. She did not have the plate number for the vehicle. 

•  A caller reported neighbors were burning wood and the fire was rather large. Dispatchers called environmental health. 

• A person reported having a wallet and bank bag stolen from vehicle on Wisconsin and east Sixth Street.

• A woman reported her ex-boyfriend stole her vehicle from her work. They are in a break up and he is supposed to be signing over the truck to her.

• A caller reported hearing a possible domestic dispute at the apartment below hers on Commerce Way.

• A woman reported the window was broken in her vehicle. Her purse was stolen out of the vehicle on FourthStreet. 

 

May 9

 

• A dead dear was reported in the eastbound lane on highway 2. 

• A vehicle was reported parked on sidewalk facing the wrong direction on Dakota Avenue with the lights on. 

• A man called to report that his neighbor speeds by his residence constantly and today he ran over their dog and didn’t slow down. He would like to know what he can do since the neighbor won’t answer his calls. 

• The Flathead Valley Fire Department paged for assistance with an out of control grass fire.

• Kootenai Pets for Life reported finding an older yellow lab with an orange collar. He was found on river road. 

• A caller reported that a motorcycle with two riders just went past her at a high rate of speed passing people on double lines. She was concerned they may cause an accident. 

• A woman called to report that her friend just hit a deer on highway 2 at the top of Whiskey Hill. The vehicle was not blocking traffic and she has a tow truck headed their way. 

• A man reported that he has a neighbor that has a dog that barks at all hours. 

• A woman called 911 to report that male broke into front door. Her husband ran the man off, but did not know the identity of the intruder. 

• A man called to speak with someone about the people on bikes. He said he almost hit one of them while driving into town. Several of them are paying attention to traffic. He was concerned they were going to cause an accident. 

 

May 10

 

• A woman called to report her elderly friend keeps getting harassing phone calls. 

• A woman reported being harassed by a man on the ACM Road. The man almost  drove into her car and spun his tires spewing rocks. He then got out of vehicle and told her that he owned the road and for her to get out of there. 

• A woman reported her neighbor came over to her place because she was playing her music too loud. The woman challenged her husband to a fight. No fight occurred. 

• A woman stated her ex-husband didn’t bring their child back after visitation. 

• A woman called 911 and said her ex-boyfriend ripped off her necklace and won’t leave the house. 

• A suspicious man was reported at the high school. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and bandana. 

 

May 11

 

• A caller reported a man broke into a residence and stole money.

• A semi driver from Spokane, Wash., hit deer on highway 2. The deer was reported to be dead and off the road.

• A woman reported her daughter was assaulted while riding the school bus.

 

May 12

 

• A man called to report that he caught a man attempting to break into his neighbors vehicle.

• A man called to report that somebody had stolen his door mat.
