John Thomas Bennett

| January 16, 2015 7:44 AM

John Thomas Bennett passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, at his home near Libby in the country that he loved.

He was born June 9, 1988 in Bozeman and was raised in Alaska and Montana and was most proud of his achievement in becoming an Eagle Scout. He was most at home in the woods and loved spending time cutting wood, hunting, fishing and hiking. He was a very talented woodworker and had recently completed a beautiful bed for his parents.

JT was a sweet, kind-hearted person that loved his animals Lily, Homer and Scooter. JT was a hardworking man and could fix up almost anything. He wasn’t afraid to try anything and had a creative mind and an inventive spirit.

He is survived by his wife Rebecca of Libby; his parents, D.L. and Barbara Bennett of Thompson Falls; a sister, Sherri and husband Joey Drapeau and family of Virginia; and sister Brandi Eden and children of Texas.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring.  Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.
