Agnes Davidson

Agnes Marie Davidson, 83, of Libby passed away peacefully Monday evening at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center following a short illness. Agnes was born on Aug. 30, 1931, in Franklin, Ky., to Robert and Frances Hamm. She was raised in Franklin with her three sisters, graduating from high school there.

Agnes met and married John Davidson in Franklin in 1949. They moved to College Place, Wash., shortly after their marriage. They both worked for the Army Corps of Engineers, moving around the northwest before settling in Libby in 1968 to raise their family. Agnes enjoyed cooking and gardening, as well as sewing, crocheting and knitting. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.  

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, John; and their three children, Craig Davidson of Libby, Annette Stephens (Scott) of London, England and Linda Jones (Scott) of McMinnville, Ore., along with nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  There will be no services at this time. The family would like to thank the staff of Cabinet Peaks Medical Center for their care and compassion.
