For coffee addicts their day can’t start until they’ve had their morning cup of coffee. Now people in the Libby area can start the morning off right with a cup of coffee and bagel from the best coffee shop and espresso stand in the Flathead area.

Copper Mountain Coffee was recently named the best coffee shop and espresso stand in the Flathead area by the Daily Inter Lake.

“It’s a huge deal,” Jacque Norman, the owner of Copper Mountain Coffee, said. “Every year I watched the award s go by and I didn’t realize we were even in the running for certain things. This year I put it on our Facebook page and asked people to go vote for us. It’s a huge honor, because there are a lot of coffee shops in the Flathead area. There seems to be one everywhere you look. They seem to be everywhere.”

Norman opened up Copper Mountain Coffee in Libby four years ago.

“The Kalispell location has been open for 10 years,” she said. “I live in Troy and we raise our family in Troy. We’ve always wanted to put one closer towards us, so I could have my own baby. When the place where we are currently located became available to purchase I jumped on it. I liked the look of the building. I thought we could turn it into a Copper Mountain Coffee. We have a lot of fans that liked Copper Mountain Band. My sister managed it for me for two years before she went off to college.”

Copper Mountain Coffee prides themselves on providing the best coffee beverages in Northwest Montana. But, they are much more than just a coffee shop.

“We pride ourselves on our espressos,” Norman said. “The biggest craze in Libby is our Copper Mountain Moonshine, which is an energy drink. Our breakfast burrito is a big hit also. They are delicious. We also offer a variety of muffins. We have yummy bagels and bagel dogs. We have a good, well-rounded menu. It’s sure to be a healthy meal when you come through.”

Copper Mountain Coffee was named the best coffee shop and espresso stand, but Norman said it’s more about the people and the experience that makes the place special.

“Our main thing is our lovely customer service,” she said. “If you want to get a coffee with a smile and a sincere ‘have a great day,’ please come through. Enjoy the whole experience of Copper Mountain Coffee. It’s not just great coffee, but you will leave feeling good.”
