Feb.1

• A caller reported a large boulder on Highway 37. It was said to be too large for a man to move. The Highway Department was notified.

• A caller on Dakota Avenue reported their car was sideswiped sometime during the night. Police responded and a report was taken.

• A man visited Lincoln County Dispatch to report a negligent homicide on Washington Street earlier in the day. He was referred to the Libby Police Department.

• A woman on Commerce Way called to report a vehicle almost drove through her house. Officers responded, but the vehicle was gone.

Feb. 2

• A woman on Pinewood Lane called to report that her ex-boyfriend has “infested her house” and she would wait in her vehicle for officers to arrive. The woman was transported to another location.

• A man from Hogan Drive reported a weapon stolen from his vehicle.

• A woman was arrested on Evans Road on an outstanding warrant.

• A local business reported the theft of a DVD player.

• A woman on Poplar Street reported her ex-husband is threatening her. She was advised to speak to police officers.

• A man was arrested on a warrant for revocation of a suspended sentence.

• A person on Second Street requested to speak to an officer about being harassed.

• A caller from Reece Court reported a neighbor put her trash can on their property. Dispatch gave the caller the number to the property manger and advised they contact them the next time it happens.

•A Libby Police Officer reported a local businesses alarm was going off. The owner was called and everything was OK.

Feb. 3

• A local business reported a bike had been left there. Police picked up the bike and took it to the police station.

• A caller on Highway 37 reported eight head of mule running loose. The caller said they were slowing down traffic and trying to get the mules pastured.

• A caller on Michigan Avenue reported a fresh set of prints in the snow up to their front porch. They just thought they should let somebody know.

• A caller on Highway 56 reported security cameras picked up vehicles stopping at mail boxes and checking their contents.

• A caller from Michelle Lane reported receiving calls from a phone service provider that ties up her line and she cannot disconnect from it.

• A person from the Troy area reported that a horse needed to have its feet trimmed.

• A caller reported an empty overturned logging truck at junction of Highway 2 and Highway 56. Montana Highway Patrol responded to the scene.

• The owner of local motel reported a man that was kicked out of the motel was harassing and threatening employees. The man was cleared from the area and the manager signed a trespass order.

• A man was arrested for a suspected violation of his probation.

• Sheriff’s officers were called to David Thompson Bridge for a possible drug complaint. Responding officers cleared the area.

Feb. 4

• A woman on Commerce Way reported someone was throwing snowballs at her door and was also ringing the door bell. Officers responded to the call.

Feb. 5

• A person from Bull Lake Road reported someone had cashed his social security checks at a Troy grocery store.
