| October 21, 2014 11:22 AM

The Libby Loggers cross country team competed Saturday at the divisional tournament in Columbia Falls.

Coach Rod Tempel said wet conditions and long grass made for relatively slow times.

Apparently Tanner DeHaven did not get the slow time memo. His time of 20:17 was a 1:09 improvement on his previous personal best. Krysten Mossburg led the way for the Lady Loggers, earning 15th place with a 22:52. Miguel Hernandez was the fastest Libby runner with a 19:52, which earned 24th.

Libby competes at the state tournament Saturday in Helena. Girls start at 11:35 a.m. Boys start at 12:40 p.m.
