 • A 25-year-old man was arrested on warrants from Flathead and Lincoln counties.

• A juvenile was arrested at Libby High School for indecent exposure.

• A man was arrested for a probation violation.

• A woman on Burrell Drive reported her dog was missing after someone threatened to shoot it.

• A woman reported that a car had tried to hit her on Highway 37. 

• A man was arrested for disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer and resisting arrest.

• A woman on Spencer Road called for assistance about a broken shoulder. She refused ambulance service on scene.

• A woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Richland County.

• A woman reported another woman outside her trailer on Reese Court making verbal threats.

Oct. 10

• A caller reported being run off the road on Highway 2. The suspect’s car was heading toward Troy with its lights off.

• A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant related to sex-offender registration.

• A woman on Lake Creek Road reported an attempt to break into her camper.

• A woman reported hearing three gunshots on Schoolhouse Lake Road.

• A caller reported shots fired near Quartz Road.

• Aaron Scott Stapley was arrested for driving under the influence on Highway 2.

• A woman reported that people involved in a sex slave ring were filming people staying at a local motel.

• A woman on Commerce Way reported that her upstairs neighbor gained unauthorized access into her apartment and accessed her new phone number and now calls her.

Oct. 11

• A caller reported a suspected drug deal on Mineral Avenue.

• A man reported four women trespassing on private property. He said they were drinking and smoking. When confronted the women reportedly screamed obscenities at him.

Oct. 12

• A woman reported that she had blocked in a burglary suspect’s car with her own vehicle.

• Carla Pruitt was arrested on two outstanding theft warrants.

• A caller on Power Line Way reported that his daughter received a stabbing threat via phone.

• A man on Highwood Drive reported his game camara stolen from his truck.

Oct. 13

• A caller on Cabinet Avenue reported suspected misuse of a woman’s medicine by her mother.

• A woman reported that her wallet had been stolen from her car. Her credit/debit card had already been used.

• A woman near Vanderwood reported harassment against herself and her boyfriend by a neighbor.

• A man reported his wife, who had been drinking, had stabbed herself in the arm and was bleeding badly.

Oct. 14

• A woman reported a moose with a cub in the vicinity of 5th Street and Montana Avenue.

• A truck driver picked up a toddler dressed only in a diaper on Callahan Creek Road. Family Services is now involved.

• A man called and stated that his wife was harassing him near Champion Haul Road.

Oct. 16

• Two boys were arrested for shoplifting at Town Pump in Libby. One was transported to his home, the other to Troy Juvenile Detention.

• A man on Shabear Lane reported that his mail had been stolen.

• A woman reported being robbed on Commerce Way. Police were searching for a male suspect in a black pullover walking along the railroad tracks.

• A woman on Forest Drive asked police to assist her in removing unwelcome family members from her home.

• Burlington Northern Santa Fe reported an illegal rider on a train coming into Libby. A 24-year-old man was arrested for criminal trespass.

• A man on Ramona Drive reported a theft from his residence.

• A bicycle was reported stolen from Rosauer’s.

• Jerry Richard Mountain was arrested on a warrant for obstruction.

Oct. 17

• A possibly intoxicated man riding a bike and swearing was reported on Iron Creek Road.

• A caller reported three horses loose on Highway 2.

• A woman reported that a deer, which had been stuck in her fence, was bedded down in her yard.

• A caller on Bear Trap Road reported that his mailbox had been shot with a shotgun.

• A woman reported an illegal repossession attempt on her car. The agent was attempting repossession based upon an application, not an order.

• A caller on Lincoln Boulevard reported two young boys throwing rocks at passing cars.

Oct. 18

• Veikko Daniel Bakkila was arrested for partner or family member assault.

• A burglary was reported on Highway 37.

• A woman reported that an armed boy had followed her on her walk.

• A caller reported two vehicles racing on Main Street near the elementary school.

Oct. 19

• John Alyea was arrested on charges of violating a temporary restraining order.

• A man called to report that his vehicle had been hit by a stray bullet from the rifle range.
