Jan. 4

• A man on Highway 2 reported a man just threatened his life.

• Nancy Schaffer was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and driving without proof of insurance.

Jan. 5

• Matthew Gary Gobert was arrested on a warrant.

• A woman on Highway 2 reported a neighbor throwing nails over the fence onto the road. The woman believed this was in response to letting her grandchild run the four-wheeler. The woman’s husband strapped his gun to his hip and went outside to remove the nails. If he was confronted, there was going to be a major dispute, the caller said.

Jan. 6

• Ronald Cadena was arrested and charged with theft.

• A caller reported a fight on the sidewalk between Home Bar and the VFW in Troy.

• A woman on Pioneer Road tried to serve eviction papers to a man. The man grew irate and threatened to shoot her.

• A man on Highway 2 reported his wife just received an unfamiliar check for $4,550 from San Francisco.

Jan. 7

• Roger Eugene Lane was arrested and charged with obstruction and resistance.

• A man on Montana Avenue reported a neighbor’s dog lunged at him when he tried to go outside.

• A woman on Voves Avenue reported being harassed and stalked by two men.

• A caller on East Cedar Street reported a small Scottish terrier with a blue harness was missing.

• A man on Libby Creek Road said he thinks his neighbor has a camera watching his property.

• A woman on Highway 37 said the man she has an upcoming legal case against was driving past her house. The man had earlier said he would “get to” her.

• A theft was reported on Idaho Avenue.

• Jack Warren Fournier was arrested and charged with shoplifting.

• A man on Park Street reported people trespassing on his property.

• A man on Highway 37 reported his guns stolen.

Jan. 10

• A woman on Lake Creek Road reported four people with what appear to be guns hanging around a neighbor’s house. The people had been there all night and were now tearing up boards and entering the neighbor’s house through the roof and removing items from the attic.

• A woman reported that her husband, who has no driver’s license, was driving her car with her son.

• Daniel Thomas Malone was arrested for driving under the influence.

• A mother on Washington Avenue requested that her daughter be removed from her home.

Jan. 12

• A caller from NAPA Auto Parts reported a shoplifter was recently recorded on camera.

• A caller reported an injured eagle on Highway 37 near mile-marker No. 7.

Jan. 13

• A man on Libby Creek Road reported his neighbor left a high-pitched device near the dog’s fence. The sound was causing the dog pain. The man also said he believed his neighbor trespassed on his property when placing the device.

• A woman on Silver Butte Road reported someone was breaking into her locked mailbox.

• A man on Highway 2 reported his ex-wife and her new man had stolen several items from his property.

• A man on Park Street said he had located his stolen air compressor.

• A woman on West Larch reported a black Lab was at her house. The dog had been in the area all day.

• Brett Lane Collier was arrested and charged with probation violation.

• A caller on Crest Street reported someone shattered his window with a BB gun.

• Roger Lane was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

• A caller on Highway 2 reported hitting a deer with his truck near the weigh scales.
