| February 28, 2014 12:37 PM

For those who like a rousing melody of Celtic music and Irish ballads, you’ll be sure to want to come to hear Bridges Home at the Memorial Center during the Irish Fair.

Music lovers will get their fix during the 19th Annual Libby Irish Fair on Saturday, March 8, when the musical duo takes the stage at 6:30 p.m.

Bridges Home is Tami and Dave Gunter – dual lead vocalists, multi- instrumentalists and purveyors of tasty Celtic sounds.

The music of Bridges Home sparkles with intricately woven vocal harmonies, accompanied by Celtic harp, Irish whistle, bodhran, octave mandolin, guitar, tenor ukulele, clawhammer-style banjo, stompbox and washboard.

The Festival at Sandpoint called them “entertaining, endearing and eclectic.”

The Pearl Theater in Bonners Ferry described their appearance there as a night of “beautiful harmonies with perfectly diverse instrumentation – all presented with warmth, humor and ease that made the audience feel at home all evening” and Spokane Public Radio host Carlos Alden commented that “it’s hard not to be awed at their singing, their material, their playing and their love for what they do.”

Tickets are $10 in advance, $8 for children 12 and under. Ticket price for adults will be $12 at the door.
