Oct. 3

• Dustin Phillip Abbey was arrested and charged with probation violation.

• A deer was stuck and killed on Highway 2 near Montana Machinery.

Oct. 4

• A caller reported a moose and its baby near the corner of Lincoln Boulevard and Wisconsin Avenue. A crowd was gathering.

• A mail carrier reported a black German shepherd chasing deer on Lincoln Boulevard and Minnesota Avenue.

• A man on Ninth Street reported finding his front door broken and property missing.

• Megan Hawkins was arrested and charged with failure to post bond.

• A caller at Cedar Hill Road reported a man not leaving the property when he was supposed to.

• A runaway juvenile was reported to possibly be at the Town Pump. She was at the Town Pump and reunited with her mother.

Oct. 5

• James Blevins was arrested following an incident in which people reported screaming, yelling and a man with an ax attempting to enter a house on Cedar Street.

• A theft was reported at Stein’s grocery in Eureka.

• A caller reported someone shooting guns last night and today behind Fiesta Bonita Restaurant.

• An injured deer was dispatched on Parmenter Hill.

• Clifford York was arrested after a report that a man on Ninth Street poured a cup of chewing tobacco and spit on the front seat of a vehicle.

• A caller at Frazey Loop reported wanting to be removed from his residence because of activities in which his father and girlfriend were partaking.  A woman called the non-emergency line and said the first caller was upset that he could not spend the night at a friend’s house.

Oct. 6

• A caller at Highway 2 reported a woman beating her brother. The woman was transported to a motel.

• Coby Benton Garrison was arrested and charged with probation violation.

• A man reported his wife was violating her probation by hanging out with “trash.” The man also reported that his 11-year-old daughter had been fondled by an intoxicated man at the place his wife was staying.

• A partner or family member assault was reported on East Mineral Avenue.

Oct. 7

• A caller reported a dead bear cub on the side of Highway 37 near mile-marker No. 5. A second call  reported the mother near the cub.

• A man at Minnesota Avenue reported a woman in a black Ford Expedition harassing him and driving around his neighborhood.

• A theft was reported at the Amish Store on Farm to Market Road.

• A woman on Highway 37 reported being harassed by a woman she met on the Internet. The woman was spreading rumors on Facebook.

• A man at the Amish Store on Farm to Market Road reported his chain saw stolen from the back of his truck.

Oct. 8

• A dead deer was wrapped in a soccer net on the football field at Libby High School.

• A caller from Glendale, Ariz., reported being threatened by a Libby woman. The two women both call a Troy man their boyfriend. The woman from Arizona visited the man in Troy last weekend and the Libby woman was now privy to her man’s two-timing ways.

• A woman reported her purse stolen at The Dirty Shame Saloon.
