Libby High band

at Memorial Hall Dec. 3

Libby High School will present their annual dessert concert/fundraiser at 7 p.m. Dec. 3 in Libby Memorial Events Center. The symphonic band, chamber ensembles and jazz band will perform.

Tickets are $4 in advance from any LHS band member. Tickets will be $5 at the door. Desserts and drinks will be provided.

Proceeds help send the band members to the Cantando Band Festival in Edmonton, Alberta in the spring.

Youth soccer

registration open

Kootenai Rapids Select League soccer registration is currently underway. All Libby/Troy soccer players between the ages of 10-18 looking to play competitive soccer are encouraged to register. No other formal registrations will be held.

Please call Mark at 293-3626 or Timory at 295-5582 for more information. Deadline for registration is Dec. 1, 2013. Forms are available in Libby at the Lincoln County Library, Libby High School and The Montana Athletic Club. Forms are available in Troy at Kootenai Drug & Hardware and Troy High School.

Turner Mountain

planning fun night

Turner Mountain will kick off the ski season at 6 p.m. Dec. 7 at The Red Dog.

Pizza, salad and beverages are available for $25. There will be door prizes, raffles and movies.

The Red Dog is located at 6788 Pipe Creek Rd.

Worship Center

showing free film

At 6:30 p.m., Sunday, the Family Worship Center will host a free showing of “Deadraiser,” a documentary film about modern day resurrection stories.

At 7 p.m. Jim Bowen will light the Christmas tree for the 82nd time. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be present, weather permitting.
