William McKinney, 61, of Libby

| November 12, 2013 11:26 AM

William (Bill) McKinney was born June 6, 1952, in Spokane, Wash., and peacefully passed away on Oct. 13, 2013, in Libby after a long struggle with health issues.

Billy “Willy” was a loving and caring person all his life.   He is survived by his children, Aaron (Shawnee) of Shannon, Calif., Corrine (Jeremy) and Kimberly (Marcus).  He was a grandfather of seven, Fallon, Jaydon, Kalani, Khaleah, Khamya, Ashtyn, and Kendal.

Also surviving is his sister “Dar,” brother-in-law Steve, brother Fred, sister-in-law Claudia, and sister “Sis.”

He has many nieces and nephews also surviving. He had many friends who loved him, and by the grace of God, he was blessed with his caretaker and friend, Christina, who was at his bed side when he passed away.

He joins in heaven with his wonderful mom, who everyone called “Granny,” his dad, and his brother, Walt.

Bill worked as a heavy-equipment operator for Inland Asphalt since 1977 and was disabled in 1996.

Bill was a simple man who lived a simple life who always loved a party and never met a person who didn’t love him.  Billy Willy will be missed, but never forgotten, forever and always in our hearts.

Celebration of his life will be held at the Pastime at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013   Please join us celebrating his life.
