Anne Pescatore, 85, of Libby

Anne S. Pescatore, 85, of Libby passed away of natural causes Wednesday March 13, 2013, at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital.  

She was born Jan. 16, 1928, in Turner to Bartolomai “Bert” and Helen (Oren) Doubek.  On June 21, 1944, she married Glenn R. Pescatore, and they moved to Seattle, Wash., where they made their home until his passing in 1989.  They enjoyed 45 years together.  

After her husband passed away, Anne moved to Libby to be closer to family. She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and aunt to many nephews and nieces.  Anne will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.  

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Sharon; two sisters, Ginnie and Dorothy; and three brothers, Velven, Ronald and Karel.

Survivors include her daughters, Karen of Titusville, Fla., and Gail of Libby; her son, Richard, of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Donald of Libby and Leon of Watsonville, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  

Services for Anne were held 11 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at Schnackenberg and Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, 422 W. Second St., in Libby. Visitation was Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the funeral home.
