Lawrence Gannon, 77, of Libby

| June 7, 2013 3:55 PM

“Larry” Lawrence Gannon, 77, went to meet the Lord, June 4, 2013.

To say Larry was always a kind, gentle, peaceful, loving man can not adequately describe him. He would do anything for his family especially his beloved wife Bonnie.

He lived most of his life in Florida working for 50 years at the Kennedy Space Center. He excelled and received many awards as chief electronic technician and a missile tracking photographer.

Larry spent his last five years traveling and then settling in Troy in 2009 where he was campground host at Dorr Skeels until his illness prevented this work he loved.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Bonnie Gannon; a brother, John; daughters, Jeanette and Stephanie; sons, David, Steven, Patrick and numerous extended family.

Services are 11 a.m. Monday, June 10, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Troy.

There will be a celebration of his life in The Mass of The Resurrection.

Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory in Libby.
