Rose M. Enders, 93, of Libby

Rose Marie Enders, 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Libby Care Center.  

She was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on June 16, 1919, to James and Annie Caroline Davis.  

She grew up in Stryker, Fortine and Eureka before moving to Libby, where she met and married Jim Enders. They were married for 51 years and had six children.

Rose will be remembered for her sweet manner and many talents. She was a member of the Altar Society at St. Joseph Catholic Church for many years.  She was also a member of the Quilting Guild, creating many beautiful quilts. She enjoyed her flower garden. She worked hard raising six children, sewing most of their clothes, crocheting, knitting beautiful sweaters and cooking fantastic meals. We will all miss her very much.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, son, Tim, her parents and her three siblings.

Survivors include five children: Mary of Spokane, Wash., Beth Sagan  and husband Bruce, of Troy, Cheryl, of Sandpoint, Idaho, Theresa, and Jamie of Kalispell; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Libby.
