Since Libby became a Graduation Matters town last May, a few local individuals have set their sights on spreading the word about the power of graduation.

With 92.9 percent of Libby students already graduating, it may appear as if they are preaching to the choir.

Still, Lynn Emery, one of Graduation Matters Libby’s organizers, wants kids to be prepared when they leave Libby High School for the real world – whether that be a four- or two-year college or straight into the workplace.

“2025 looks so far in the future” Emery said. “But it’s just around the corner.”
