• Devin Andrew Kyriss was fined $600 and sentenced to 10 days in jail for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Oct. 27

• Gary E. Wood, Jr. was sentenced to 180 days in jail, fined $500 and lost his hunting, fishing and trapping rights for two years after being in unlawful possession of game.

Jan. 12

• Katherine E. Iverson was fined $250 for failing to carry proof of insurance in her vehicle.

Jan. 24

• Mark Lawrence Managhan fined $20 for going 77 mph in a 70 mph zone.

Jan. 25

• Brett D. Pumnea was fined $20 for driving 80 mph in a 70 mph zone.

Jan. 26

• Howdy L. Browning was fined $100 for a violation of department orders.

• Christopher A. Clemons was fined $50 for operating with expired registration.

• Bruce Clifford Hoard was fined $20 for driving 35 mph in a 25 mph zone.

• Thomas Dean Matson was fined $20 for driving 78 mph in a 70 mph zone.

• Loretta E. Shaw was fined $20 for a seatbelt violation.

• Caller reported a disabled vehicle and struck deer on Highway 2 near mile marker 56.

• Caller on Greer’s Ferry reported some hound dogs that have been barking for an hour. He guessed they might have treed an animal.

• Caller at Glass and Home Innovation reported some strange mail he wanted to talk to an officer about. 

• 911 call for a traffic accident on Highway 2 near mile marker 51.

• Caller at the Libby Post Office reported receiving calls from a “very irate” man accusing the postal workers of stealing his catalogs.

• Caller reported someone firing a weapon behind her property on Kootenai River Road.

• Shannon Wildman, 38, was arrested on Yaak Avenue in Troy for probation violation.

• A suspicious person was reported at Lucky Lils casino.

• Caller reported witnessing a purple van running through two red lights on Highway 2 in Libby.

• A vehicle collided with a boulder on the road on Highway 37 near mile marker 5.

• Front door of Burger Express was open at 1 a.m.

• Caller on Highway 2 reported several medical patches had gone missing.

• A malamute-type dog was running loose on Bowker Street.

• Caller on Powerline Way was concerned his grandson was being abused by his father. 

• LVA was called to the Lincoln County shooting range after a man collapsed.

• Two red dogs with black muzzles escaped their yard on Nevada Avenue.

• A horn-hunter was involved in a climbing accident near Kootenai Falls.

• Paul Gentry was arrested on Mineral and 10th Street for DUI.

• Suspicious activity was reported on Nevada Avenue.

• Caller on Pioneer Road reported a turkey in his yard with an arrow through its neck.

• A 35-year-old woman broke her leg snowmobiling in the Yaak.

• Two dead sheep were reported on the side of Highway 2 near mile marker 25.

• Caller reported someone had stolen binoculars out of his vehicle.

• Jimmie Don Whitter came to the Sheriff’s lobby for booking.

• There was a family disturbance on Park Street after a young man got out of jail and tried to get his truck.

• Caller reported a brown horse in the middle of the road on Education Way.

• Caller on Callahan Creek Road in Troy reported a missing cat.

• Caller on Yaak Avenue in Troy said a man at the bar was making her uncomfortable after refusing to serve him because he didn’t have identification.

• Caller on Main and West Poplar saw a wolf behind a church near his home.

• Jennifer Lynn Schulz was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

• Caller on Dakota Avenue reported a male smashed a window in her car and was threatening suicide.

• Randy Johns was arrested near Libby Empire Foods for possession of dangerous drugs.

• W.F. Morrison principal called requesting to speak to an officer.

• Caller found a lab mix with a dark blue collar at North Milnor Lake.

• Deer with hurt leg reported in 1200 block of Dakota Avenue.

• Caller on Tamarack Lane wanted to report a civil problem.

• Two men were harassing people near Rosauers.

• Caller reported striking a deer with his vehicle on Farm to Market Road.

• Shilo Moore, 42, was arrested by Eureka PD and transported to Libby.

• Caller on Pioneer Road reported a neighbor playing really loud music.

Jan. 31

• Suspicious activity was reported on Utah Avenue. Caller suspected burglary.

• Same house on Pioneer Road had cranked its music back up.

• Caller reported a burglary at his residence. His iPhone and laptop were missing.

• Caller on Tamarack Lane reported people had stolen his recently deceased grandfather’s truck.

• Caller on 700 block of Granite Avenue reported his wood stove was missing.

• Suspicious vehicle was reported at Cabinet View Golf Course.

Feb. 1

• Troy Volunteer Ambulance was called to Troy High School for a seventh grade girl who may have broken her leg.

• Jenny Quintero was arrested for driving with a suspended driver’s license.

• Caller on Swanson Lodge Road lost her dog, a brown and white spaniel.

• Caller on Wisconsin and Michigan reported his ex-girlfriend was refusing to pick up her dog and he refused to care for it. He said he was leaving it in an alley until animal control could pick it up.

• Caller reported being harassed by phone and mail by her half-sister and sister’s husband.

• Daniel Marozzo, 29, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

• Two dogs were running loose on County Shop Road.

• Mitchell Fahland, 60, was arrested on charges of DUI.

• Caller on Park Street reporting loud music and lots of traffic coming from one end of the trailer park.

• Caller on White Avenue reported his neighbor’s dog was running loose.

Feb. 2

• Caller on 12th street in Troy reported a man trying to break in and take property.

• Caller in Troy reported being harassed via text message from another woman and her friends.

• Caller in Troy reported a woman hit her head and was bleeding profusely. An ambulance responded.

• Caller on Louisiana Avenue reported her camera was stolen from her vehicle.

• Caller reported receiving harassing texts and emails from her ex-boyfriend.

• The injured person at the Halfway House was arrested. Faith M. Lee, 40, was arrested for disorderly conduct and assaulting a police officer. She had been drinking.

Feb. 3

• Caller on Granite Creek Road reported receiving harassing phone messages from an individual and wanted an officer to come listen to them.

• Caller on Vicks Lane reported two 9-year-olds were going door to door trying to sell a rifle scope. When the caller threatened to call the police, the two boys threw the scope in a snow bank and ran away.

• Crystal Noel Kunze, 34, was arrested for probation violation.

• Caller on Yaak Avenue in Troy reported an individual had passed out and an ambulance was needed. 

• Caller on Bowker Street reported a man had just stolen her medications.

• Caller on Timberlane Road reported a red Jeep Cherokee hit her while she was walking. The caller did not want to file a complaint and requested to remain anonymous.

• Caller on Highway 2 reported her sister was refusing to leave her property and was banging on the door.

• Caller on 8th Street reported several loud people on the street that were waking up her 10-year-old son.

Feb. 4

• Shoplifter was caught at Stein’s Market. No name was released.

• Troy dispatch received a call from a man on Yaak Avenue He claimed his house was possessed and the walls were on fire. 

• Caller on Louisiana Avenue reported an employee he just terminated for doing drugs in his vehicle might be around. He requested a patrol to stop by.

• Caller on Third Street reported his in-laws took his hospital bed while he was in the hospital and were refusing to return it.
