Lady Trojans get doubled up by Stillwater Christian, 41-21

The Lady Trojan basketball team stumbled out of the gates Thursday in their season-opener at home.
The Stillwater Christian Lady Cougars opened with eight unanswered points and led 18-4 after the first quarter. The lead firmly in their grasp, they would never look back.
The Lady Trojans scored a game-high eight points in the second quarter and won the third quarter 5-4.
Troy post Caitlin Johnston led the Lady Trojans in scoring with 10 points. Hailey Peterson was the second leading scorer with four points. Christian Stillwater’s Sarah Paolini was the game-high scorer with 13 points for the Lady Cougars.
The Lady Trojans face a pair of road contests this weekend. On Friday they travel to Plains for a 5 p.m. contest. On Saturday they will take on Noxon at 3 p.m.
