This American bald eagle Thursday at about the 1.2 mile marker on Pipe Creek Road. The raptor was eating from a carrion and lept upon the stump sensing the photographer. The image was captured using a 300mm Canon lens at an F-stop of 5.6, a shutter speed of 1/500th second at an ISO of 1,600.
