Justice Court

April 8

• Curtis J. Renz was fined $500 and given a suspended sentence of 190 days in jail for charges of driving a vehicle with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without liability insurance in effect.

April 11

• William Corbell was fined $600 and given a suspended sentence of 179 days in jail for his first offense of driving under the influence of alcohol dating back to Dec. 16, 2012. He had an additional charge of speeding dismissed.

• Warren “Dean” Ferch was fined $700 and given a suspended sentence of 173 days in jail for his second incident of driving under the influence of alcohol dating back to Dec. 25, 2012.

• Alan Lynn McMillan was fined $250 and given a suspended sentence of 179 days in jail for driving a vehicle while his privilege to do so was suspended dating back to Jan. 24. He had an additional charge of operating a vehicle without insurance dismissed by prosecution.

• Thomas L. Burson, II was fined $1,000 and given a suspended sentence of 364 days in jail for a charge of aggravated driving under the influence that was amended to negligent endangerment dating back to Feb. 1.

• Tammy L. McMillan Redifer was fined $100 and given a suspended sentence of eight days in jail for a partner-family assault that was amended to disorderly conduct dating back to March 11.

• Filip M. Schertel was fined $100 and sentenced to MIP classes and 20 hours of community service for possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 dating back to March 30.

April 12

• Alberto Antonio Aguirre had a charge of revoking a suspended sentence dating back to a partner-family member assault Feb. 28 dismissed by the prosecution.

Sheriff’s Report

April 4

• Caller in 600 block of Flower Creek Road reported her little brother had been harassing her and texting her friends about her since September. She wanted it to stop.

• Caller at the Plaza Apartments reported a little girl, about 3-years-old, wandering around in the parking lot unsupervised. She said her mother was sleeping. On the same call, Steven Murphy was arrested on charges of criminal trespass.

• Caller on Vicks Lane reported someone driving an older white Isuzu ran over her mailbox and sped down the road. Caller couldn’t get a license plate number and the driver was wearing a ballcap.

• Caller on Great Northern Avenue East reported a stolen boat.

• Reporting party came into the sheriff’s office lobby to report his father’s gun stolen and checks forged. He had a suspect.

• Caller on Avondale Road reported a man she had not had contact with in a while had locked her out of her residence and had her children in his vehicle.

• Caller on Park Street reported a disturbance when one group of residents moving out of a trailer had an altercation with a group moving in.

April 5

• Matthew Alan Mueller was arrested near the Venture Inn on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
