Lincoln County 

Justice Court

April 4

• Eric R. Orr, Sr. was fined $300 and given a suspended sentence of 28 days and ordered into a drug information program after being found guilty of possessing drug paraphernalia and failing to carry proof of insurance in his vehicle dating to Oct. 26, 2012. He had an additional charge of driving a vehicle with a suspended license dismissed.

• Emily R. Helgeson was fined $250 and given a suspended sentence of 179 days for driving without a valid driver’s license dating to Dec. 13, 2012. She had an additional charge of unathorized use of a motor vehicle dismissed.

• Erin Dale Goosey, Jr., was fined $250 and given a suspended sentence of 178 days for driving a vehicle while his privilege to do so was suspended or revoked dating to March 14.

• Bret James Bachteler was fined $500 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, 21 of which were credited time for resisting arrest dating back to March 14. He had an additional charge of disorderly conduct dating to the same day dismissed.

Sheriff’s Report 

April 2

• A man called in a brown and white horse running loose on Second Street Extension by New to You.

• Caller reported someone was trying to pick up his 28-year-old handicapped daughter at the fitness center.

• Caller on Kearney Avenue reported that he was threatened by a man about a month prior. He just now received a phone call from the man’s wife that her husband was threatening the caller again. She sounded very nervous.

• Caller in 400 block of Granite Avenue reported a missing five-year-old boy in blue pajamas had been missing since around 2:15 p.m. The caller found the boy a short time after.

• Libby Volunteer Ambulance was paged for a female having seizures in the Park Street Apartments. She was not breathing, but would come around before seizing again.

• Caller in 400 block of Farm to Market Road advised there is a man at the premises refusing to leave. They advised that the man had been drinking. The man was dropped off at a motel for the night.

• Larry Hanson, 44, was arrested in Troy on a warrant.

April 3

• Caller in 1500 block of Dakota Avenue reported someone broke the windows and slashed the tires of his vehicle.

• Caller reported a donkey running loose on the side of the road at Second Street Extension and Highway 2.

• A disturbance was reported in the 900 block of California. A man and woman were arguing. The man left the scene in a large green Dodge diesel truck. He was at the Sandman Down Under when officers found him.

• Caller heard sirens and saw a black pickup come into the sand pit on Highway 56 at a high rate of speed.
