July 6

• Lisa Edwards, 23, was arrested on two outstanding warrants at Cripple Horse.

• Caller in 500 block of Park Street reported that he realized his generator was stolen and on sale in a pawnshop.

• A black and gray Dodge with a camper and Idaho plates left Mac’s Market without paying. 

• Caller reported a speedboat at Crystal Lake driving recklessly with children in it.

• Daniel Dolan, 33, arrested on probation violation.

• Motorcycle doing wheelies on Highway 2 in front of McDonald’s.

• Troy Police Department advised they had Christopher Hoffman, 21, on possession of dangerous drugs and DUI.

July 7

• Loud fireworks near Cabinet View G.C. at 1:30 a.m.

• A loud, drunken group of campers were setting off fireworks until 3:30 a.m. and threatened other campers. When police responded, one suspect went and hid in woods.

• Tall, blonde female was walking down the middle of the Kootenai Bridge and appeared intoxicated.

• Caller and wife from Timber Lane reported being assaulted.

• Marcie Bachteler arrested on a DUI charge,

July 8

• Caller in 200 block of Milnor Lake Road reported having painkillers stolen from her residence.

• Caller reported a suspicious person on Highway 2 by the green dumpsters taking a “modified Weaver stance,” and thought person was pointing weapon at them.

• Daniel Marozzo was arrested in contempt of court.

• Andrew Rode turned himself in for probation violation.

• Caller reported a bear peeking in her window in the 700 block of Lower Granite Creek Road.

July 9

• Caller advised bear looking in her window. Second time this week he has been in 700 block of Lower Granite Creek.

• Marty Mischenko was arrested on a traffic violation near Gamble’s Hardware in Troy.

• Report at the courthouse of someone making a verbal threat in a court hearing.

• Vehicles in McDonald’s parking lot clowning around.

July 10

• Caller reported hitting a deer near the Kootenai bridge.

• Caller reported stolen wallet left in a person’s vehicle.

July 11

• Jeremy Paul Beske, 38, was arrested for disorderly conduct after a caller caught him crawling about on her driveway in 300 block of 2nd Street. When she asked whether she could help him, he took off running.

• Caller informed police that her mother was missing after calling with car trouble.

• Caller in 1000 block of Commerce Way advised that his pistol was missing, and he had a good idea of who took it.

• Caller reported being harassed on the phone all day.

• Caller in 300 block of First Avenue reported a car that had been parked near his house for several days. Said it was suspicious. 

• Reports of an individual harassing and following caller and her boyfriend.

• Caller in 800 block of Granite Avenue reported his neighbor was getting his wood pile wet.

• Caller on Louisiana Avenue reported all the fire hydrants had their caps off. Was told it was an Eagle Scout project, and they would be replaced as soon as they were repainted.

• William Edward Kilgore, 76, was arrested on charges of contempt of court.

• Mitchell Adam Nichols, 19, was arrested on charges of probation violation.

• Caller reported her grandson being assaulted by former son-in-law.

• 6-year-old ran away after his mother attempted to discipline him.

July 12

• Caller in 100 block of Swede Mountain Road called to report her mailbox being damaged.

• A Tamron 28-200 zoom lens and a camera bag were found at the Kootenai Falls.

• Caller advised that a juvenile was harassing people near fishing pond at Fireman’s Park.

• Caller in 38100 block of Highway 2 reported she was being abused by her caregiver.

• Caller reported a man with several kids “floating the river” on a raft and children were not wearing flotation devices.

• Caller in 800 block of Idaho reported that neighbor children are throwing cherries at her children.

July 13

• Male caller advised a man repossessing a vehicle near Antlers assaulted him.

• Caller in 300 block of Wards Road reported that someone has punctured his swimming pool in the night.

• Caller in 9500 block of Bull Lake Road reported their vehicle had been broken into and several things had been stolen.

• A truck hit a moose at Highway 2 and Hilltop. Driver had minor injuries to her hands, but refused medical care.

• A U-Haul went through the Burger Express drive through and hit the side of the building.

• Caller reported being assaulted by boyfriend’s aunt in the 100 block of Ski Road.
