Rescuers free a trapped bull moose
A large bull moose, perhaps stumbling home from the bars, found himself upside down in a ditch in early-July, much to his surprise.
When he was found in the water line trench on Russ and Kathy Wilson’s property on Bull Lake Road, it took several hours for excavators to get the wedged animal out.
When he was freed, the large herbivore rose to his feet, emptied his bladder, and wearily walked back to the woods, safe but sore.
