Helen Arlene Marry

Helen Arlene Marry went to be with her Savior and husband on April 4 in Boise.

Helen was born March 15, 1934 in Filer, Idaho to Cathrine O’Rourke and Delbert Gardner.

Helen put herself through beauty school in Spokane where she worked nights as a candy striper. She worked as a beautician until she married Tony T. Marry, Jr. on Nov. 9, 1962 in Montana.

 In 1964 Helen and Tony adopted a son, Wayne and in 1966 adopted a daughter, Celeste.

Helen and Tony raised their family in Libby, until April of 1982 when Tony passed away.

Helen then moved to Council, Idaho, in the fall of 1994 to be with Celeste and her family.

Helen is preceded in death by husband Tony, mother Cathrine and sister Maureen.

She is survived by a sister Marijean Pittman of Waterloo, Iowa, son Wayne Marry of Boulder, daughter Celeste Zielinski of Council. Survivors also include four grandchildren,

Erica Zielinski of Council, Amanda Willson of Caldwell, Derek “Bubba” Zielinski of Fort Campbell, Ky. (currently deployed in Afghanistan) and Waylon Zielinski of Council, as well as six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 12 at 3 p.m. at the Community Church.
